Who Are We?

At Richard A. Myers, Jr. & Associates, we have over 32 years of experience practicing law, but in 2000, we began our focus on providing families with senior planning advice and legal counsel.  

Areas of Practice

Estate Planning:

Help families establish a written plan for the control of their assets and succession planning.

Probate Representation:

When someone passes, we help the filing of the administration of the estate. We work with the court, guiding the executor, or the fiduciary appointed through that probate process.

Guardianship Application:

Guardianship is a lifetime probate. We're now having the court appoint someone to make medical decisions or financial decisions for an individual. We try to avoid guardianship and probate when we can by using wills and trusts to establish these decisions.

Veteran Benefits:

We work with both wartime and non-wartime veterans and their families to offer them assistance so they can receive the benefits that they earned. We also help with disability claims. 

Medicaid Application with Asset Preservation:

We guide families through the process of applying for government benefits, accelerate eligibility, and not lose their entire life savings.
