Changing the Medicaid Laws 

We have had the privileged to have the opportunities to do some groundbreaking changes within the Medicaid rules. There are several policies of Medicaid that didn't fit the statute, and we fought for those rules to be changed and won!

Some of the laws we have changed:

• Medicaid is not allowed to transfer any of those penalties to somebody other than the applicant.
• Medicaid is not allowed to exempt VA benefits.
• Medicaid cases must be decided in a timely manner.

We've gone back on several cases, and we've challenged some of the Medicaid practices that aren't necessarily in the statute, or they're misinterpreting them as we see that.
